I had a young couple bring me a slice of a tree that had died years ago, it was where they got engaged and asked that I make a table for them to memorialize their marriage. This is what they brought me and the 2nd and 3rd pic is how it turned out.

After I cleaned it up, you can see that it had 2 growth rings and bark in the middle. it was actually 2 trees that merged into one. They were thrilled to find this out.
