How We Create Unique Handcrafted Tables in Central Indiana

At Resin Art Interiors, we build unique handcrafted tables in Central Indiana with care from start to finish. Our Process

We begin by selecting raw wood from trusted suppliers. Each slab is chosen for its shape, grain, and strength. We then machine, sand, and cut the wood to the right size and form. This step sets the base for the entire piece and ensures it is ready for the next stage. 

Shaping the Design with Resin

We position the wood in a mold or attach a mold directly to the slab to create the space where the design will form.  

Layering Color and Stone

We pour resin in separate passes, adding and curing layers of color and stone on each stage to create a flowing design that feels natural. 

Building Depth with Clear Resin

After layering color and stone, we apply four to five layers of clear resin over the design to build depth. 

Finishing with Texture and Protection

We complete each resin wood art table with a specialty coating to create a soft texture, reduce the resin's high gloss, and protect the piece against scratches.

Adding Strong and Clean Bases

Finally, we add high-quality table legs and steel bases sourced from a trusted supplier to the resin wood art piece to ensure balance. 

Production Timeline

Handcrafted work varies by complexity. Most projects take about three to four weeks to complete. However, more detailed custom work can take up to two to three months. We take the time needed to complete each step with care, ensuring the finished piece meets both design and quality standards.
